231 Bridge Street

(Mr. & Mrs. Wilbur Hill)

This beautiful Queen Anne brick mansion with a wrap around porch was built in 1900 by Oscar H. Stine.  In 1887, he entered the law firm of Stine and Stine as a junior partner. In 1900, he  became associated with Stine and Kramlich, wholesale liquor dealers.

The owners have meticulously restored the interior of the home.  You enter the home through beautiful leaded glass double doors.  The entry hall features a fireplace as well as the dining room.  All the woodwork and molding is original as well as the antique lighting. The center hall staircase has a large beautiful stained glass window going up to the second floor.  Additional leaded and stained glass windows are throughout the house.  The floors have been refinished throughout the house.  The old kitchen has been replaced with a beautiful new kitchen including new cabinets and granite countertops.  The bathroom has been updated and a new claw foot tub added.  The brick exterior of the house has been repointed.  The front year has been landscaped and planted with new trees.
